I know… two Three Days Grace songs in a row… it’s such a good song and who doesn’t love a good breakup song? I picked this song and these specific lyrics because they resonate with me and this is how I feel about this subject. Don’t drag it on, don’t prolong the pain or pretend it doesn’t exist… rip the bandage off and let’s get it over with. If I was in this situation, I would want to know and be told. Don’t worry about my feelings, I will get over it and move on. Tell me! Break me! Kill me fast!

I much prefer the direct approach, rather than someone pretending to be bad, trying to get the other person to dump them. Sure it may hurt, but the pain is better than the false hope and the deceit. I’m not saying I am right and everyone must do it this way, I am saying for ME, this is what I would want.
