It’s been awhile since I last posted anything, but I am back with a new design, and I am trying out a new non-Wordpress format. There is nothing wrong with Wordpress, but it’s just too big and too much overhead for my needs. Maybe I will go back someday, but for now I am enjoying the freedom and creativity while just using Markdown, HTML, CSS, and the Hugo static site generator.
I decided it was time to build a new site and start again fresh. I am trying out a VPS setup rather than shared hosting and rebuilding is underway. Much like my previous effort, this site will contain a collection of my photographs, my thoughts on various song lyrics, and a bunch of other random stuff. I’m going to make an effort to post more frequently as well.
