Musical Influence
Albums that inspired me
As part of a Facebook “challenge”, I was tagged to post 10 album covers, one per day, that greatly influenced my taste in music. I had so much fun with it that I actually posted for 21 days. I have reproduced the entire list here, including a couple of additional selections.
The list is in a random order, and obviously leaves out lots of music I listened to regularly, including great stuff from Kansas, Journey, Shooting Star, etc. The choices here represent albums/bands which had a profound affect on my musical interests. In many ways, they fostered my cross-genre tastes and led me to new discoveries.

The last album on my list set the bar & my expectations for what a LIVE album should sound like. Not to mention, it provided hours of late-night, post-party fun as Tom, Jim and I honed our “air” instrument skills on 157 Riverside Avenue, and Ridin’ The Storm Out.
